The teenage years are a critical developmental phase, particularly challenging for dyslexic children and teens. Many face significant hurdles due to masking, where they conceal their learning differences to blend in with peers. As a result of masking, their dyslexia may go undetected for years, and/or its scope and impact may be seriously underestimated. These issues can precipitate learning crises, severely impacting their academic and personal development.
