Welcome to the Davis methods - a powerful hands-on system of learning, devised by a dyslexic and autistic individual, that utilises dyslexic and ADHD intelligence as a learning tool and that shows autistic individuals how to participate fully in life.
For over four decades, our fast-track one-to-one programmes have been empowering neurodivergent children and adults - using their own natural talent - to overcome difficulties with literacy, numeracy, hand-eye coordination, handwriting, attention focus, energy management, executive function, and social interaction.
In the classroom, our approach successfully brings together learners of all different thinking styles, creating learning experiences which stimulate the academically able and protect the at-risk learner at the same time.
We know how it feels…
Our founder, Ron Davis, spent years discovering how to overcome his own severe autism and dyslexia, and he has been empowering others to do the same since 1981.
Our facilitator training is steeped in Ron’s wisdom and experience, and Davis facilitators typically have direct experience of family members with learning differences as well.
These insights put us in a unique position to combine our personal experiences with game-changing learning programmes that deliver positive outcomes time and time again.
Imagine being able to master the alphabet (forwards and backwards) in a day, or feel confident with maths in a week, or understand yourself and feel in control of your life for the first time ever.
Find your way forward
People who think differently require a different approach. Davis is different.
That’s why you’ll enjoy our alternative, holistic and personalised programmes facilitated 1:1 in a respectful and non-judgemental way.
Building on your strengths, you’ll be able to focus your innate intelligence and gifts on developing the understanding and skills you need to thrive alongside everyone else. There’ll be no stopping you!
The Davis Difference
In almost every way imaginable, our approach differs from the traditional. Gently challenging conventional assumptions, our well-researched approach turns the page on the confusion, frustration and toil that has been your path up till now.
After Davis, everything is better. Let us show you the way to realising your full potential.
It is time that learning became easy and enjoyable; you are entitled to nothing less.
Our Mission: to unlock neurodivergent potential
We believe that neurodivergent individuals have the right to participate fully in the life they choose for themselves. People who think and learn differently possess unique talents that are a force for good in the world.
Helping neurodivergent individuals to learn isn't about having the right answers. It's about having the right questions. The solution to a learning difficulty will always be found in the person who is experiencing it.
Neurodivergents have a rich, abundant inner world from which there is much to learn. Becoming curious about how dyslexic, dyscalculic, ADHD and autistic individuals naturally think and learn equips society to improve education for all.
Practical help with proven results
We blend insider-understanding with self-regulation tools and engaging, hands-on techniques. This multisensory approach works for all kinds of learners, whatever their age, but especially for creative, imaginative, out-of-the-box thinkers who struggle with traditional educational methods and environments.
Inspiring breakthroughs
At Davis, clients often arrive feeling frustrated or ‘broken’, and leave with a new sense of self-confidence, self-awareness, and strength-based strategies for lifelong learning.
