Richard has been a Davis Facilitator since 2002. A former classroom teacher with a background in both adult and secondary education, he discovered the Davis Methods while seeking a solution for a struggling learner—and has been immersed in the work ever since.
His passion for holistic approaches to learning has led him to deliver workshops on parent–child communication, and to lecture internationally in countries including the UK, Ireland, Iceland, Estonia, Poland, Portugal, Italy (Sardinia), South Africa, New Zealand, and the United States.
Originally trained as a linguist, Richard speaks several European languages and is also a PATOSS-accredited Specialist Teacher Assessor, with a particular interest in multilingual SpLD assessment. He previously served for six years as Special Educational Needs Coordinator in a leading British independent school.
Richard is the author of Why Tyrannosaurus But Not If? and Counting On Fingers, and has contributed to publications such as Literacy Today, Green Parent Magazine, and Personnel Today. He has been a regular speaker at the Birmingham Neurodiversity Show.
Cathie Geraci
Davis Autism Approach Workshop Presenter & Training Supervisor
Cathie is an American who has lived in Venice, Italy for more than 30 years. She holds degrees in Economics and Speech Communication, and brings over two decades of experience supporting neurodivergent individuals—beginning with her own children, whose remarkable progress first introduced her to the Davis Methods 15 years ago.
Inspired by their transformation, Cathie trained as a Facilitator and has since helped more than 200 individuals discover and use their innate intelligence. In addition to her client work, she is a Training Supervisor and Workshop Presenter for the Davis Autism Approach.
Cathie has worked closely with Ron Davis, contributing to programme development and the Italian translation of his work. She is guided by a firm belief in the limitless potential of every individual to grow, learn, and thrive.
