From Struggles to Scholarships: Real-Life Transformations with the Davis Method

In the world of neurodiversity, each individual's journey is unique, marked by personal challenges and triumphs. Here at Davis, we are privileged to witness these transformative stories first-hand. In this video, Margot Young, Director of Davis Pacific and a seasoned Davis Facilitator from Wellington, New Zealand, shares two inspiring tales.

The first story is of a young boy, who at nine struggled immensely with reading and writing. Intelligent and curious, he found ways to avoid his academic difficulties until the Davis Programme changed his life path. Fast forward, and he’s now aspiring to dual degrees in law and commerce.

The second tale features a young man with dyslexia and ADHD, whose life was a series of unsteady jobs and personal setbacks until he engaged with the Davis Programme. With newfound focus and strategies, he not only stabilised his love life, but also secured a promising apprenticeship.
