About the Event

Sending your neurodivergent child to an independent school can be daunting. Parents often worry about whether their child’s unique needs will be met in an environment that might prioritise academic rigour over individual support. When their child is a boarder, the worry can be compounded by a lack of direct insight into your child's well-being.

This webinar, led by two uniquely positioned experts in both independent SEN provision and in the Davis methods, offers invaluable insights and strategies to address these concerns and ensure your child not only "fits in", but thrives.

In this webinar, you will explore:

· Understanding SEN Support: Dive deep into what SEN support really looks like in elite independent schools. Learn how to navigate beyond initial impressions to the actual provisions, policies, and implementation.

· Evaluating Strengths & Challenges: Discover the strengths and potential challenges of SEN frameworks within private educational settings.

· Effective Communication Strategies: Master the art of liaising with SEN coordinators, support staff, and teaching faculty to optimise your child's educational experience, ensuring they receive the tailored support they need.

· Fostering a Success Mindset: Cultivate a success-orientated mindset in your child. Learn how the newer insights into the true nature of learning differences can bolster their resilience and self-esteem.

· Maximising Potential: Uncover effective strategies and tools that can enhance your child’s learning and overall school experience, ensuring they harness their full potential.

Who Should Attend? This webinar is designed for parents and guardians of neurodivergent children who are attending or considering an independent school. Educators and support staff will also gain value from attending. It’s an essential resource if you are looking to advocate effectively and make informed decisions about your child’s education.

Reserve your place now and gain the knowledge and confidence to navigate the complexities of SEN support in independent schools, ensuring the best possible educational outcome for your child.
