About the Event

Some bright, creative learners — including many with dyslexia — struggle with maths and numeracy. Often, repeated interventions have failed to deliver and the child is quietly written off as "just not a mathematician".

Yet the Davis approach can deliver a huge leap in maths ability in a matter of days. Find out how, and pick up some powerful practical tips.

Richard is a Davis Methods Specialist, has been providing Davis Programmes for 22 years, and has a particular interest in the Davis Mastery for Maths process.. He is author of the book, "Counting On Fingers — Why Some Bright And Creative People Struggle With Numbers And Mathematics, And How That Can Be Changed" and has an extensive background in education as a secondary school teacher, learning support teacher and special educational needs coordinator.

'R's  maths teacher was hugely complimentary about your work with R (and  quite emotional about his Common Entrance result!) today, as was his  science teacher who noted the dramatic improvement in R’s ability after  your sessions.'   'R is the only non-scholarship student to win the headmasters academic  endeavour award! Your ears must be constantly burning with the amount of  times I sing your praises to everyone!'

‘The Davis Maths Mastery course matched the pace my child needed to learn. I witnessed my son grasp concepts with speed and clarity, growing in confidence and excitement to learn more. Maths very quickly became his favourite subject.'

‘We were both blown away by how quickly years of lost learning were set in a foundation which became easy to build upon.’

'He can’t remember the time he did not understand Maths.’
