About the Event

For decades, dyslexia has been framed as a disability rooted in faulty language processing. But what if that view is not only incomplete — it's holding people back?

This webinar introduces a revolutionary perspective pioneered by Ronald D. Davis, a dyslexic visionary whose insights revealed that dyslexia is not a learning disability, but a thinking style in its own right. In this new understanding, the difficulties dyslexics experience in so many traditional learning settings are not a symptom of a deficit, but a side effect of a powerful, picture-thinking mind.

In Dyslexia — The Revolution, Richard Whitehead explains why the old models fail so many learners — and how the Davis approach is changing lives by working with the way dyslexics naturally think. Through this radical new way of understanding dyslexia, dyslexics can become fluent readers and resilient, independent learners.

You’ll also explore why, despite the substantial body of research that backs the Davis approach, many professionals resist this breakthrough — and why history is full of examples where revolutionary ideas were mocked before they changed everything.

This fast-paced, content-rich session includes live Q&A. After the formal cameras-off webinar, there’s an optional 30-minute informal “coffee meeting” for further discussion.
