About the Event

A dyslexia label is one thing. Finding real solutions is quite another...

For many parents, teachers, and even adults navigating their own learning journey, this is the frustrating question that follows a dyslexia diagnosis. Support can be patchy, solutions hard to find, and the emotional toll overwhelming.

In this powerful and practical talk, Richard Whitehead, author, educator, and Director of Davis UK & Ireland, will share fresh insights into how dyslexics naturally think and learn—and practical, empowering strategies that move beyond labels to unlock lasting change.

🌟 What You’ll Learn:

  • Why diagnosis alone isn’t the solution—and what really works

  • How dyslexics think and learn

  • Why dyslexics so often struggle in traditional learning environments

  • How to build a learning environment that plays to dyslexic strengths

  • How the Davis® Methods provide a unique, empowering approach to overcoming learning challenges—without long-term dependency on extra support.
