Join us for a special Ask an Expert session tailored especially for Tanzania! This is an open, unscripted Zoom event where you can ask any question to our panel of Davis Facilitators — including Tanzania’s own Rahma Amer Mbarak, and Davis UK’s Richard Whitehead.



We welcome questions on a wide range of topics, including:

  • Dyslexia

  • Dyspraxia

  • Dyscalculia

  • ADHD

  • Autism

    ...in both children and adults.


Who Should Attend:

  • Parents seeking help for their children

  • Teachers looking for better support strategies

  • Tutors and SEN professionals

  • Neurodivergent adults exploring solutions for themselves.


This session is interactive: you can ask your questions live, on camera or microphone. All questions are welcome!

Meet the Panelists

Richard Whitehead

Richard is Director of Davis UK & Ireland, and a world-leading specialist in neurodiversity and dyslexia. A former teacher and author of Why Tyrannosaurus But Not If and Counting on Fingers, Richard has spent over 20 years empowering dyslexic and neurodivergent learners using the Davis methods. He is known internationally as a speaker, trainer, and advocate for strengths-based solutions to learning differences.

Rahma Amer Mbarak

Rahma is the first licensed Davis Facilitator in Tanzania. A former schoolteacher with over six years of classroom experience, she was inspired to train in the Davis methods after reading The Gift of Dyslexia by Ronald D. Davis. Rahma offers Davis programmes in both English and Swahili, and has translated The Gift of Dyslexia into Swahili. She is passionate about helping Tanzanian children unlock their natural gifts.

Karibu kwenye mkutano maalum wa Uliza Mtaalamu, ulioundwa mahsusi kwa Tanzania! Huu ni mkutano wa wazi wa Zoom ambapo unaweza kuuliza swali lolote kwa jopo letu la Wafasiliteta wa Davis — wakiwemo Rahma Amer Mbarak wa Tanzania na Richard Whitehead kutoka Davis UK.

Tunakaribisha maswali kuhusu:

Richard ni Mkurugenzi wa Davis UK & Ireland na mtaalamu mashuhuri wa kimataifa kuhusu usomaji tofauti na neurodiversity. Amewahi kuwa mwalimu, na ni mwandishi wa vitabu Why Tyrannosaurus But Not If na Counting on Fingers. Kwa zaidi ya miaka 20, Richard amekuwa akisaidia watu wenye changamoto ya kujifunza kutumia mbinu za Davis, na anajulikana kimataifa kama mkufunzi, mhamasishaji, na mzungumzaji.

Davis, ambacho kilimhamasisha kujifunza mbinu za Davis. Sasa anatoa programu za Davis kwa lugha ya Kiingereza na Kiswahili, na ametafsiri kitabu The Gift of Dyslexia kwa Kiswahili. Ana shauku kubwa ya kusaidia watoto wa Tanzania kugundua vipaji vyao vya kipekee.
